Ingredients

1 cup of dried prunes1/2 cup of walnuts2 tablespoons of honey1 teaspoon of baking soda2,5 oz of neutral oil3/4 cup of boiling water2 eggs2 cups of self-rising flour1 cup of sugar

Directions

Place in a bowl the prunes cut in small pieces, the nuts, the honey, the bicarbonate, the oil and the boiling water, and let rest 20 minutesBeat on the side the two eggs with the sugar and the self-raisign flour, and add the mixFlour and butter a cake pan of about 10×12 inches
Bring to a moderate oven for 45 minutes (insert a toothpick into the center before removing, to check if it’s done)
